There seems to be something in everyone of us that we can't  resist and that is the chance, when it arises, to help someone in trouble. I was driving down the freeway in California one afternoon and witnessed a motorcycle run off the road and crash through a fence at about seventy plus miles per. At one second before the crash each and every person that saw this happen were living their totally individual lives of varied race, creed and ethnicity and not very concerned about anyone other than their own personal space surrounding them. But at the moment of truth when everyone saw that there was a need, a brother in trouble, it was as if these strangers had all rehearsed  the "what to do in this situation", over and over, time and again. People pulled off the road, certain people took their places as if directed by someone in charge. Several went to the aid of the man from the motorcycle, someone grabbed their cell phone to call 911, a couple people immediately assisted in directing traffic away from the affected lanes of the highway, everything happened so much in unison, then very soon an officer arrived and then an ambulance and medical team. Before you knew it the man from the motorcycle that crashed through the fence was on his way to the hospital, the crowd of "VOLUNTEERS" got back into their cars and back to their own private lives and the scene was as if nothing had ever happened. Isn't that what it is all about? GOD BLESS the VOLUNTEER.  "Always Be A Volunteer-Always Be A Friend".
